About Us
Evi's Home. Modern Apartments in Bern.
Evi’s Home is a home away from home in Bern for tourists and business travelers since 2022. The 31 studio apartments are equipped with everything necessary and are suitable for both a short trip and a longer stay. We offer special rates for travelers who book five days during the week (Mon-Fri) or at least 30 days.
Evi’s Home is a self-check-in. This has the advantage for you that you can arrive during the night. Check-in is possible from 15:00 and check-out is possible until 12:00. We kindly ask all guests to respect the night-time rest from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Please note that there is no reception or common room on site. However, we are available by phone and e-mail.

During your stay at Evi’s Home you can use the public transport for free. For every booking we give you the Bern Ticket. With it you enjoy free travel in zones 100/101 of the LIBRO tariff association.

Evi’s Home is located in the popular quarter “Breitsch”. Here you are off the beaten track and in the middle of the life of the Bernese people. In a few minutes walk you can reach popular restaurants and lively bars. With the public transport (which you can use for free) you can reach all the sights of the city within a short time.

BERN BEARPARK
The Bern BearPark is right in the middle of the city. The mascot animal of the city has a long tradition. Bern has kept its own brown bears since the 16th century. In 2009, the park was modernized and now provides a comfortable home for the mama bear Björk and her two cubs Finn and Ursina. Not far from the park is the “Dälhölzli” zoo with around 200 different animal species. A large part of the facility is located directly on the banks of the Aaren River and can be visited freely.
OLD CITY OF BERN
The old town of Bern has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983. The imposing sandstone buildings and the six-kilometer-long arcades hide original stores, various bars, cafes and restaurants. Let yourself be enchanted by the unmistakable charm of the old town.
ROSENGARTEN
The most beautiful view over Bern is in the Rose Garden. From here you have a unique view of the roofs of the old town, the cathedral and the Aare loop. Over 400 species of roses and irises decorate this perfect place to enjoy the sunset with a picnic.
PAUL KLEE CENTER
The iconic building was built in 2005 by Italian star architect Renzo Piano. The undulating steel and glass construction blends with the surrounding landscape and is worth a visit in itself. In addition to the world’s most important Klee collection, you’ll find temporary exhibitions, guided tours and events such as concerts, theater and readings, as well as workshops at the Creaviva Children’s Museum.
Bern Outdoor Pools
A summer in Bern also means cooling off in the outdoor pools. Not far from Evi’s Home is the Wylerbad, which is a great fit for families. Experienced swimmers can dare a jump into the Aare. Here we especially recommend the Marzilibad, from where you can enjoy a super view of the Bundeshaus. Please note that swimming in the Aare is at your own risk. The SLRG and the city of Bern provide (life) important advice for all who are in and around the Aare.
